Also as part of our movie-mania weekend, we saw "Death at a Funeral" at the Tivoli on Sunday, with my parents. Pretty funny -- mostly predictable, but Jeremy really got a kick out of it. We did have a slightly major laughing fit, 3/4 of the way through the movie, after Jeremy almost poked my eye out with his baseball hat. Heh.
Alan Tudyk, though, who played Simon was fantastic. Great physical comedy actor -- he has amazing control over his eyebrows ;o)
We also caught "Shooter," which we had downloaded to our Tivo via Amazon "Unbox" (uh, is that the lamest branding effort you've ever seen or what? What is an "Unbox?").
Shooter stars Mark Wahlberg (hot) as an ex-Marine marksmen who basically gets double-crossed and framed for a presidential assassination attempt. Quite a good flick -- definitely entertaining, tho' (admittedly) I'll pretty much watch anything with Wahlberg in it.
Oh! And we caught a few episodes from the first season of "Dexter" via OnDemand (ah technology ...). So creepy. So awesome. Michael C. Hall is fantastic, as always.
So excited to have Showtime now -- now I can finally watch all the shows that I've been DENIED access to: Dexter, The Tudors, Californication (return of Duchovny!!) ... Yay!
