No, not that Decision 2008!
This one! Bridesmaid dresses! Almost as important as choosing our future president. Since, there comes a time ... when one must FINALLY choose a dress(es) for her bridesmaids!
This has caused me a lot of anxiety, as it seems very awkward/weird to choose something for someone else to wear. To remedy that weirdness - I decided on options!
My bridesmaids are picking from any J. Crew dress style in cotton cady in black. Cotton cady (presumably a fabric that the lovely marketing folks at J. Crew made up a funny name for) is like a shiny, structured fabric -- I have a swatch, it's very nice :o)

The prices make me a little squeamish too -- so I'm going to handle the ordering, shipping -- and hopefully work out some sort of discount.
So, what do you think? I'm so glad this part is over with. I think I knew what I wanted all along, but it was the "asking" part that was the biggest hurdle

I've devoted maybe three seconds to thinking about flower girl dresses (I know, I know ...) but just came across this today while browsing DC Nearlyweds and all that changed:

Such a complete departure from the standard white dress with sash dress that I had previously contemplated for the aforementioned three seconds, but I love the fun cascading polka dots (I have a skirt almost exactly like this, 'cept in reverse) with GREEN trim. And $38??!!

So I can't really remember actually ever eating a fresh passion fruit before, but seeing as they are native to Brazil, I probably tried one while I was there a few years ago -- since I am so partial to the fruit ya know ;o)

But on a whim, I bought this new Yoplait Passion Fruit yogurt -- it's surprisingly yummy! Usually, I'm not a big fan of the more "exotic" flavors, so this was a pleasant surprise. Almost a peach-like undertone -- but not quite. The yogurt itself has an interesting yellow-ish tinge -- but the flavor is really nice. Definitely recommend checking it out!

This is not the time to sink a large amount of money into a trip, and it is definitely not a good time to put travel or educational expenses on your credit cards. Resist the impulses coming from your itchy feet and sink that money into savings or paying down debts.
Troubling since I'm in the process of booking not one but TWO trips -- up to New York for a wedding next month and SOMEWHERE for our yet-to-be-determined honeymoon. I mean, not that I'm a general advocate for credit card spending, but sheesh!
I wonder if my father somehow conspired with Facebook to have this appear ...
