Silliest post ever! I realize that in the grand scheme of things, this particular decision doesn't really amount to much ... but it makes for a fun, interactive post, no? Plus, silly little posts should be required for dreary Mondays.
For your consideration ... I give you: KitchenAid Stand Mixer colors! I'm at a loss -- which color do you think I should register for?

The Ice, Green Apple and Lemongrass are all available from two of the stores that we're registered at. Unfortunately, the snazzy Crystal Blue doesn't seem to be -- it actually may be discontinued, darn it.
Obviously I don't want a color that I will tire of/look dated/go out of style -- but at the same time, I do want a nice, cheerful color that will bring a smile to my face :o)
What do you think? Are there any other colors that I should be considering? Help me choose!
we went with silver b/c it matches other stuff we registered for. i love the colors. but i don't want to out date myself at our 5th anniversary.

Of the colors above, I like 'ice' though 'green apple' might prevent you from regretting your decision 10 years from now. I went traditional as well and have a red mixer. My Mom has some yellowish appliances that must have been chic once upon a time...I didn't want to end up like her :)

I love green apple or ice. To me they have the already-retro look & you would be less likely to think they were 2000's and rather timelessly funky. Especially the ice--so 50s (though I currently am in love with that apple green color in general).
I went with cobalt...though we are going to "pimp" it soon...lol

We registered for the silver one, but I also registered for the handheld mixer in lemongrass, so that's my vote!

I really like the first one....I understand not wanting to be outdated in 5-10 years but I think that usually only happens with really bright colors (lime green refrigerator anyone?)

Pick the one that makes you the happiest. I have the pink one and my Mom tried to talk me out of it saying it would be outdated. But...you know what...my favorite color is always going to be pink and every time I look at that pink beauty it makes me happy. I love my mixer! Hope you enjoy yours too!

I suppose it depends on what else you've registered for, and what your kitchen color scheme is, but I am loving the Green Apple and Lemongrass!
