I love little nightgowns/chemises -- soft, simple little things -- so easy to wear, but so pretty and sweet. Before our wedding, I bought about a half dozen. Nothing fancy or elaborate -- in fact, most of them came from Old Navy -- usually cotton, perhaps with some delicate trim.
Now this ... this is a bit more fancy:
{"Well-Tended Chemise" from Anthropologie: $58}
From the description:
"Under a gardener's watchful care, the pansies on the voile skirt of Lilka's chemise grow oversized and lush, then spill over onto the deep grey jersey bodice."
I mean, who wouldn't fall in love with 36" of cotton with adjustable straps after a description like that? Oh, but the colors are just so darling, I can barely stand it.
And while we're on the subject of bedtime/lounging attire, I'm rather partial to these pants as well:
{"Zigzag Heron Pants" from Anthropologie: $48}
I like the color. And the birds -- they rather look like peacocks.
And those are the only two things I'm even going to look at. Loungewear/sleepwear browsing at Anthropologie may turn out to be a bit of a slippery slope for me ;o)
I love me some Anthropologie! Just made a huge purchase myself, but didn't even look at their sleepwear yet... Good find.
