Is that meringue/fruit dessert called a Pavlova? I think I saw Nigella make that once.

Ellen...you are KILLING me! I love Christmas decorations so much...love the ornaments on the chandelier. I usually put beaded snow flakes that I made on mine but last year Scout (the first kitty) played and batted at them all the time....Frankie (ole' blue eyes, the baby) is a maniac and has been using the ornaments like punching bags....it will be a crazy season over here. so alas, no beautiful ornaments dangling from the chandelier....maybe some day :sigh:

Lynn: yes, it's often called a Pavlova (named after the Russian ballet dancer, Ánna Pávlova), and that's usually what I've seen them referred to as when I've had them in England. And Nigella's looked delicious.

Andrea: I've noticed that cats and Christmas trees don't always mix. Luckily our dogs are largely oblivious ;o)
