Last weekend we saw the movie The International, with Clive Owen and Naomi Watts. While I (mostly) enjoyed the movie, what I really loved was the beautiful ring Ms. Watts sported throughout. I can't find a picture from the movie of her wearing it, but I'm pretty sure it's Cartier's trinity ring:

How I even recognized this ring as being from Cartier, I'm not sure, as I am in no way familiar with their collections. Perhaps this is some sort of weird female intuition ... vestigial knowledge? Evolutionary by-product?
Regardless: I admired, recognized, identified, and located. It is truly beautiful -- I've always loved pieces that incorporate the three colors of gold.
